PUBLISHING ALL INCLUSIVE FEE STRUCTURE:
  • Soup-to-Nuts DELUXE Trade Publishing Agreement: $4235, however, depending upon earned discounts after subtraction of the evaluation fee, the cost can be reduced to $3686, $3786, or $3886 depending on the evaluation rating
  • Soup-to-Nuts Trade Publishing Agreement: $3295, however, depending upon earned discounts after subtraction of the evaluation fee, the cost can be reduced to $2946, $2846, or $2746 depending on the evaluation rating
  • Comprehensive Trade Publishing Agreement:$1595
  • Back of the Room Trade Publishing Agreement: $1395
  • Returning Author Trade Publishing Agreement: $1295
    • Authors returning with third titles receive a 10% discount.
    • Authors returning the fourth titles and thereafter receive a 15% discount.
  • These prices include all work through the upload of the finished and author-approved files. Any changes requested by the author after the upload of the book will cost $225 per revision for the cover and $225 per revision for the interior of the book.
  • Authors bringing multiple titles at one time may receive a per additional work discount to be quoted at the time of contract creation, and this discount will be consistent with the returning author discounts listed above.
  • All pricing subject to change without notice, however, we typically try very hard to not raise our rates. If a rate change occurs, it will typically go into effect at the beginning of the next calendar year.

100% ROI ROYALTIES

Also, all authors will benefit from our 100% ROI (Return On Investment) book purchase program, where by all author receive 100% royalty until their publication fees are recouped. Typically this can be accomplished with the author's direct sale of 150-250 books purchased at the ROI price schedule of print cost plus shipping and handling. Also, sales from all other sources (main stream online stores, our online store, bookstores, etc.) are paid at the 100% royalty until the publication fee is recouped.

If an author does not feel they can sell 150 to 250 books, they should not publish their book.

Once the royalties have repaid the publication fee, all contractual publisher/author royalty splits go into effect. The author can purchase books at a 50% discount from retail and resell the books at 100% retail. All books sold online from any source or through bookstores will provide the author a 50% royalty. These are the highest in the industry.

All Nightengale Press titles are discounted 30% in our bookstore to compete with the mainstream online booksellers.

It is no longer advantageous to a consumer to purchase at Amazon, B&N or other online stores, over the Nightengale Press online store. But the royalty paid to the author is three times greater on the Nightengale Press online store than on any other online or bricks and mortar bookstore. This is key information. Authors should always direct their customers to the Nightengale Press online store, because they will receive the higher royalty payments there. All author websites also should link directly to the author's buy page on the Nighengale Press online store.
